Nate was surprised to say the least - look at that face. He didn't quite know what to think at first.
Nate doesn't like a lot of attention centered on him...so it was perfect!

Here's the crew that made it all happen

I made most of the desserts that Nate loves. Brownies, BTS cake and oatmeal choc chip cookies. We also had Krispy Kreme doughnuts and Julie made gooey butter cake. For the birthday cake, Jess and I got him a Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory - his ultimate fave! It was to die for!
Nate had a little help blowing out ALL those candles

Jess made Nate a jerky bouquet. It was made of jerky on skewers, Firecrackers and Slim Jims- all of Nate's favorite treats!. She knows him well...

We were glad Kim was able to make it - 2 weeks after having baby Davis!

A little target practice

Since it was Daddy's party, Kalli stayed up until 10:30. She got a little bored and decided to color a picture for us. She was pooped and conked out upstairs in the guest bed shortly after.

One last pic of the group before we headed home at 11 pm.
It was a lot of fun and I am so glad it all worked out as planned. Happy Birthday Nate! I love you!

What a great idea. That's like me with Chiki. He always finds out about everything, including his gifts. Looks like you all had a great party!!
Real life will come back to us someday and we will all be able to hang out together again! We love you nate! So Happy you're still with us at 30! ;)
