Zoomar's

We went to the petting zoo in San Juan Capistrano called Zoomar's for a preschool field trip. The kids had a blast

Trey loved following the goats around. At one point I looked over and a little girl, maybe 7 yrs old, was petting Trey's head. He didn't move, so I guess he liked it. His white hair is just too irresistable to touch. He gets comments and people rubbing his head all the time. I guess Trey is his own 'petting zoo'...

Happy Birthday Nate!

Nate turned 31 today. Such an old man :)

(The look on his face is priceless.) Trey and Kalli were excited to give him this huge cupcake first thing in the morning and some Fresca, beef jerky, beanies and other favorites of Nate's.

they also liked helping him eat the cupcake too.

Since we had already had Nate's big birthday dinner a couple nights earlier, we kept it simple and went to one of his favorite places, El Pollo Loco, with the Lowry's tonight. They are great and always up for a good time.

A Little Celebration

A few good friends joined us at Mosun in Laguna Beach for all-you-can-eat sushi night. Nate's birthday is in a couple days and he wanted sushi - no surprise there :)

Nate ate himself sick, as well as most everyone else...

It is always fun to celebrate with others - green tea ice cream anyone (ugh)

These girls have so much fun together. I am so glad we joined this co-op. It has been the best thing ever for Kalli

Starting the Camp Season Off Right

We booked a night at Leo Carillo in Malibu with the Lowry's for our first camping trip in way too long. The kids loved it.

Trey fell down a few times, but that didn't stop this wanderer.

We went on a little walk and spotted this just off of the trail. There were about 3 more black and yellow snakes on the trail as well. Not a good day for a walk if you don't like snakes (sorry Jake)

The kids loved the beach and rocks but this little pond was the hit. There were hundreds of little tadpoles for the kids to chase and catch.
