Hello Tooth Fairy

Kalli FINALLY, according to her, lost her first tooth the good ol' natural way. Wendy did the honors of yanking it out with some floss while at the pool. No tears, just a toothless smile. The tooth fairy even left an extra dollar for the tooth lost almost 4 years ago due to an unfortunate accident at Express.

HERO Camp

Kalli went to Hero Camp put on by the wonderful people in the Irvine Stake. They have been doing it for a few years but this is the first time Kalli has joined them. It is a week of crafts, songs, Book of Mormon Heroes and good ol' fashioned fun. Kalli had a blast! I got to see her perform some of the songs at the end, it was so cute. I can't wait to do it again next year.

Surprise! Happy 40th Julie!

For Julie's big 4-0 birthday, I surprised her by taking her out to dinner at one of her favorite restaurants, Mahe in Dana Point. I had some of her friends there to surprise her when we arrived. She was shocked to say the least.

I love this girl more than anything! I hope she had a fabulous time and I look forward to celebrating many years to come. Love you and Happy Birthday Julie!

Chad is Rad

Uncle Chad came to visit for an afternoon and our kids couldn't have been happier
Trey couldn't stop laughing and smiling

Kalli and Trey always love horsing around.
It is too bad we live on opposite coasts; we would love to see the Donvitos more. Hopefully we will reunite sometime in the near future!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

These 2 never get sick of the pool and love a chance to show off a bit

Even I had to get in on the action. Kalli looks soooo much more natural. I guess I will have to work on that :)

Kalli's First Show

Kalli and Emi went to Bible School Camp for one week at a nearby church. They sang, did crafts and many other activities. Kalli had so much fun and brought home lots of fun things every day. Kalli LOVED learning new songs and sang them in the car and at home getting ready for her big performance at the end of week.

Kalli smiled and loved showing us what she learned the last night of the camp. She was so proud and we are so proud of her.

Forests = Fun

On our way back home from Logan, we stayed with our friends, the Forests, in St. George for a couple days. It is always a good time when we get together.
We tried to keep cool in the 108 degree weather

Kalli and Boston ALWAYS have a great time together

Trey wasn't so sure about the splash pad

We tried to keep cool in the minimal shaded area

Boston and Kalli found a better way to relax

The next day we went to Zion's National Park. Kalli and Boston enjoyed it all, including the bus

Trey liked being in a bus (one of his favorite words) too

We found a nice watering hole

Trey threw rocks

Look closely, that is Nate in there

That night we went to a park to see the fireworks. Kalli couldn't wait to see them, she kept askinghow much longer until it is night, and so on.

Trey thought they were a little scary at first but warmed up in the end.
We had so much fun with the Forest crew. We miss them and hope they make it back to their REAL home in California soon!
