I Can't Believe This Day Has Arrived

Today was my last day of work. Wahoo! It was a little bittersweet, since I really didn't mind going to work and I truly enjoyed chatting it up with Katrina, who I worked with, but nothing can compare to my other 'job" of being a full time mom. I am looking forward to being home with Kalli and my new little guy. Can't wait for him to get here!

Katrina and I, outside of GWA (work)

We went to lunch at a fabulous Italian restaurant in Crystal Cove, then had to get dessert at one of our favorite yogurt spots - Red Mango. Mmmmm...

Katrina I'll miss ya - I look forward to many future lunch dates.

Feelin' the Love

The day is soon approaching for this munchkin inside me to come out and say hello, so of course, some great friends of mine (Wendy, Kim, Jess, Julie, Debbie & Jenny) threw me an amazing shower. I coudn't have asked for anything more! It was so much fun and I really didn't want to go home (we stayed until 11 pm). My little boy was completely spoiled! Thank you for everyone that came to support me and for making it such a memorable night. Here is a small glimpse into the fun we had.

The food was tasty - even a chocolate fountain found its way there

Some of the guests.
Notice the string of brown and blue clothes hanging on the stairs - thanks Grant for having so many adorable clothes

Baby bump t0 baby bump

Like I said, so many great gifts

This was a purse/diaper bag Nate secretly got to the shower. There is a story that goes behind it, but for now, thanks Hon' for being so thoughtful and sweet!

Jenny was great. She kept everything so organized and in control, thanks!

My new Hooter Hider made custom by Kim

A special thanks to Kim and Wendy for all their time and for making the night perfect. I am blessed to have so many great friends. When family isn't close it is nice to know I have friends to rely on.
Thanks again to EVERYONE for making this night unforgettable!

Disneyland - We're Back!

Finally! Our blackout days are over. We hit up the 'Happiest Place On Earth' and didn't miss a beat.

Yep, we both enjoyed the carousel

the teacups are always a must

Knock, knock, who's there

We went to the Princess show for the first time and Kalli was bedazzled by it. She was so excited to see the princesses and her favorite - Cinderella - come down those stairs and dance with them. We will have to hit this show up more often.

Winnie the Pooh is always a psychedelic treat

Kalli ducked during the Jungle Cruise to avoid some of those 'scary' animals

Thank heavens we made it through alive!

Don't worry Disneyland, we will be back soon!

Two Little Fish

Kalli has recently learned how to swim without floaties. She loves to go under water and race with her daddy. To keep cool, we have been living at the pool lately, so she has had a lot of practice!

I must say, 2 peas in a pod!

So Easily Entertained

Kalli and some friends of hers playing a little Mario Cart on our old school Nintendo 64

Julie (their mom) wanted to get in on the action as well. Who can resist when the kids make it look like so much fun?!

My Little Fruit Monster

Kalli loves all things fruit, so its a good thing we have our own fruit patch growing around our house. Lately, her favorite thing is to get up on her table and pick the grapes from the vine herself. SO if you are looking for some fresh organic fruit, come on over and she'll pick some for you too :)

Duck, Duck, Goose...

Last Saturday, Kalli and I met up with the Lowry's at the Regional Park. Kalli loves feeding the ducks. This time we brought Cheerios, maybe next time we will try something a little more creative like PB & J's...
