A Fair-y Good Time

Today, Wendy invited us to go with her in-laws annual Stake Pasadena Fair. Nate was working and we had an open day so the kids and I piled into Wendy's car and away we went. This fair was amazing - food, trains, bounce houses, horse rides and more...FREE! The kids had so much fun.

Not So Sweet Dreams

Nate took Kalli to Powell's for a little treat tonight. When I got home, she was excited to show me what she picked out and then set some aside to eat the next day. Later than night, Kalli woke up screaming and crying. Nate went in to see what was wrong and she kept saying that a man took her candy bag from her. She was hysterical and wouldn't snap out of it. Eventually Nate calmed her down and she fell back asleep.

Hmmm...so this is what kids have nightmares about - or maybe, just Kalli.

Lake Mead Here We Come!

The Lowry's invited us to go with them boating to Lake Mead over Memorial Day weekend. We were very excited a) to have something to do over the holiday weekend b) to go boating, heck ya!

Here's the happy family - looks can be deceiving, the water temp was around 65 degrees - a little chilly, but once you went numb it felt great :)

Kalli was so excited to go on the boat. She told me later at the motel that she was having so much fun on our vacation and is excited we get to go on the boat again tomorrow. She is my little fish!

Playgroup Has Come to an End

These little rascals had so much fun together.

Maybe once this crazy summer is over, we can do it all over again. Kalli hopes so!

Surprise

This is what I look like when woken up at 6:30 in the morning by friends (if that is what you can call them :) For birthdays we kidnap each other early in the morning and go out for breakfast. I dodged the raid last year being in Costa Rica, but this year they got me- 3 weeks early. I thought for sure I would be ready for them - being dressed with my make up every day for a week before my birthday (on the 5th of June), but they outsmarted me. Don't worry girls, revenge is sweet...

A Camping We Will Go

Nate and Miah took Kalli and Boston to Joshua Tree camping for one night.

Kalli loved roaming the rock hills just as much as eating the food, free reign.

So did this guy...

Nate said she loved getting into the cooler and pulling out her own water bottle.

Kalli loved the fire too. She got to stay up until she said she was tired and ready for bed (10:30!)
