Springtime Swingtime

Treyvan already wants to do everything his big sis is doing :)

Tyler, Julie's son, is so sweet with Treyvan. He is so excited to see him everytime we get together. He brings toys, plays with him and pushes him in the swing. He says he wants to babysit Trey when he is a little older-perfect! Tyler is just so cute with him, I think Julie definitely needs one more... ;)

Treyvan is already a beach stud. He loves his glasses and so do the ladies!

Kim's Surprise (Not) Shower

Wendy and I planned this wonderful surprise baby shower for Kim a month ago, even coordinated it with Curt in advance, but of course Kim 'the snoop' found the evite and blew our cover. We went on with the party still, at Mimi's - her fave, and had a great time!
Don't worry Kim we still love you and you are ALMOST forgiven ;)

This Must Be What Heaven is Like

It Feels Like Forever

since we have been to the hot tub! Ever since ours went under construction in February, I have longed for a soaking. Wendy invited us over to her sisters and it felt like heaven :) It was Treyvan's first time and from the looks of these pictures, he enjoyed it too.

6 Months and Counting

I can't get enough of this little guy


He always does this - mouth wide open, looks like a bird waiting for its worm

This bouncer is Treyvan's new source of fun and my new source of freedom

6 Month Stats

Height: 28 1/2 inches - Over 100%

Weight: 20 lbs 10 oz - 95%

Head: 45 cm - 75%

And this is what he is doing:

-can roll over from front to back (but absolutely hates tummy time)

-can sit by himself for a long time - just needs a few pillows around him

-eats about any kind of baby food and any other food I will give him

-loves to chew on fingers, mine included

-loves holding and playing with his feet

-goes to bed btwn 7-7:30 pm, wakes up btwn 5-6 am, then goes back to sleep until 7-7:30 am

-naps for 30-45 min intervals 3 times a day, if I am lucky, one of those naps is 1-1.5 hrs

-will smile at anyone, if given a little attention

-has been told by many people, friends and strangers, he has a perfect round head

-is in size 3 diapers and has been for a couple months - getting ready for size 4 soon (Kalli only got up to size 4, then she was potty trained)

-has been wearing 6-12 mos clothes for 2 mos now and it looks like he will be moving up soon

-still barfs up after every feeding, not necessarily right after he is done either

-looks for Kalli and can be entertained by her for long periods of time

-reaches for things, including my nose and mouth

-still a mama's boy!

A typical morning at our house -the whole family in our bed, with smiles all around. (Nate is that lump to the left - he doesn't want anyone to see his morning scruff :)

Surprise!

For Debbie's birthday this year, Jess and I, with the help of Albert, fanangled a surprise dinner at Mangia Bene with a few friends. We had Albert "take Debbie to dinner" and there we were all waiting for her. It was so much fun seeing the shock on her face and of course great food with friends is always a good time! Happy Birthday Debbie!

We wanted to surprise Kim for her birthday, so we showed up at her house the day before at 6:45 a.m.

Laughing It Up

Treyvan just couldn't sit on the sidelines and watch everyone have fun at the park any longer. He had to join in - it looks like this is just the beginning :)

Party Time

Tonight, Debbie and I threw a baby shower for Jessica Forest. She is having a little girl on May 4th and they plan on naming her Darby. Time has flown by and I am so glad she was here so we could have this shower for her! We had soooo much food and she got soooo many cute baby clothes! Thanks to all those that brought their yummy food. It was delish!
