Nate was about to leave the Newport Temple this morning, but as he tried starting the car all he got was a thumping noise. After seeing that the belt had come off and the steering wheel woulndn't turn, he called a tow truck. As the car was being lifted up onto the ramp, Nate saw a weird looking "string" hanging down from underneath the car. He gave a little tug and to his surprise, it was no string...

It was a rats tail - ewwwww, ughhhh!

Nate says the picture doesn't do it justice. It was the size of a ferret. It had made a small nest in the front basin of our car and when Nate tried turning it on, the rat got sucked into the belt and made the belt come off. Luckily the repair wasn't too expensive, but beware out there - it could happen to you!
